I am so proud of my best friend. There are no words. This weekend was her last four regular season games. Going into the weekend they had to win all four of the games to make it to the conference tournament for the first time in years. They won the first 3 and ended up losing the last one. My heart broke for her and for myself. I don’t know of anyone else who would have been able to do everything she has done over the past 4 years. I’m the one who loves superheroes, has superhero t-shirts, and a superman wallet. At the end of the day though I am not the superhero, she is. She’s graduating college with a double major in biology and business in 4 years, starting her master’s degree, applying to med school, working, playing softball, being involved at school, having a social life, and always being there for me through all the good and bad times. I would never be able to do everything she has done/does. I’m so proud to be able to call her my best friend.
It’s so much more than a game… It always has been…
